There is a known issue with the Motorola Surfboard series modem in how it handles the uncapped bandwidth on FilePlanet.  Yes, you say to yourself "I get fast downloads at other sites".  While this may be true, each site uses different data transfer methods and it is a known issue with this modem that speeds on FilePlanet drop to 200 kbs or less on this modem.  Not in all cases, but some.

If you have this modem and the above sounds like you, an easy way to test is to swap out the modem with a friend or neighbor for a minute and confirm.  If another modem gives the same results, feel free to click on Request Support then Submit a ticket and let us personally help troubleshoot with you.
